When Mohandas K. Gandhi was groping for a new idiom and a new symbology to make his understanding known, he went about it by growing it from the ground. In the process he ending up browbeating Kasturba to do what she was scant willing to do. CLEAN UP THE COMMUNITY TOILETS!
Now a caste Hindu woman did not do what was expected of her by her husband's NEW LEAF TURNOVER! Mohandas K. Gandhi when he was groping for a new growth must have instinctively felt that he could not wait around for her to come round to his way of thinking, there being already a huge chasm between the thinking of the two of them. While he was western educated and reverted to roots as a recent rebel, Kasturba never left her roots! She was unread in the ways of the west and lived her own way. But because this huge chasm could not be coaxed into compassionate existence in one given lifetime that needed so much COMMUNITY COMMUNION TO BE ACHIEVED IN DOUBLE QUICK TIME, he gave her an ultimatum and when she baulked he the MAHATMA OF THE NATION, threw her out in the middle of the night in a strange city in a stranger country!
THAT WOKE HER UP!
LIKE TILOPA'S SANDAL SLAP AT NAROPA'S CHEEK!
ABHISEKHA WAS ACHIEVED.
INITIATION WAS INSTANTANEOUS!
THAT IS THE PARADOX.
THAT HAS NO PARALLEL!
MARPA'S MEANS WERE DIFFERENT!
SO WHEN FINALLY,
MARPA met Naropa about whom he had heard so much in Nepal, and which took him considerable time and energy to accomplish he was most disappointed.
THE PARADOX COULDN'T HAVE BEEN STARKER!
