"Human Rights do not enjoy the
universal implementation
one would wish them because they do not yet depend on the
universal power
of the human being
but rather on the power of the
part on the whole,
and if the most elementary claims upon the GOVERNMENT OF ONE'S OWN BODY
are trampled on in all latitudes, we can only speak of aspirations which have to get
TRANSFORMED INTO RIGHTS.
Human Rights do not belong to the past; they are there in the future, drawing the intentionality towards them, feeding a struggle which is revived with
each new violation of the destiny of Man.
Because of this, every claim made in their favour has meaning becasue it shows
the PRESENT POWERS
that they are not
OMNIPOTENT
and that they do not have
THE FUTURE CONTROLLED."
Mario Luis Rodriguez Cobos as SILO
'TO HUMANIZE THE EARTH'.
